Composer/pianist and MA founder/producer Todd Garfinkle in his 2nd attempt, joined here by bassist Shigeo Sugiyama and percussionist Yahiro Tomohiro. The six originals by Todd reveal his unique approach to melody, being both simple, but sophisticated, while maintaining an ever important sense of space. The Harmony Hall in Matsumoto, Japan warmly resonates with the combined chamber jazz sounds of the Bösendorfer Imperial Concert Grand, double bass and exotic percussion.
